Nicole Colville was born and currently lives in England, Leeds, West Yorkshire. � She is a wife and mother of two young girls and has recently decided to follow her dream of writing her own books. �She is a new author and has written a collection of novels, eight books in total so far. �Hidden Truths is her first published book, Hidden Pasts is the second.Check out her Facebook page, Nicole Colville for news and information about the series."Hi Everyone, I wrote The Hidden Series as short story for a website and quickly realised it was far too big, I had wrote it all as one book when I decided 350 A4 pages was too big for one book and was most definitely not a short story. �I split the book into three parts, Hidden Truths, Hidden Pasts and Hidden Passion, I printed them off and read them, then wrote a prequel, Hidden Love, which started off as a few pages just to clarify the history of two of my main characters. �Writing the prequel changed the first books and I went back and edited and re wrote the first three. �It was while writing my fourth book and editing the first three that I felt I had actually wrote something worthwhile. �I've really fallen in love with all my characters, no matter how small or big their parts are in my books and because of that I have wrote two more books following up the secondary characters and exploring their lives and loves.�I started off this journey with the intention of writing about love and the struggles and changes couples go through. The fact that most of my characters are gay or bisexual isn't intentional. �I don't think I planned to write a 'gay love' story, to me this is just a love story. �It's all just sex and it's who you love that's the important fact. �I really hope people enjoy my books and get to love the men in my life like I have done. �I love them all for many different reasons and I hope that you feel the same."

This book sees Valerio, Scott and Jamie in the same mess as book 1. I found it really difficult to put down, too eager to find out the secrets that you know are just hovering.
Valerio and Jamie are still together but are both plagued by the secrets from their past. Scott is always in the background and the pull between him and Jamie is just as strong. There is real mystery around Scott’s and Jamie’s relationship but the author is not quick to divulge!
It is difficult to imagine three men and their families having such constant drama but it works well and it is all entwined for reasons we have yet to find out. None of the relationships seem healthy with too much dependency involved but again it nearly all comes down to the secrets from the past which in particular affect Jamie.
I found myself really regretting having read Victor and Alex’s book out of order as it allowed me to see Victor in a different light and although he was a complete monster I found myself saddened by him in this book and heartbroken for Alex. Scott’s terror at becoming like his father just makes you like him more even though he is still trying to portray the heartless bastard image.
You hear Scott’s voice more in this book showing a completely different side to the story. He suffers through a wedding; the evening being hilarious even for him, and then Rafael appears and catches his eye. This adds to the confusion as Rafael is Valerio’s first love and it raises the uncomfortable factor a few notches. It’s interesting to see how quickly Scott falls for him but still can’t keep himself away from Jamie.
There is a massive shock for Valerio at a party and the implications for all of them are huge and I admit I didn’t really see it coming but when it did it tugged me in all sorts of directions. Nicole Colville didn’t pull any punches with how the story played out!
There is a lot, and I mean a LOT, of sex in this book but there is also a good story line and a lot of drama to keep you interested and turning the pages. Towards the end I thought we were finally going to see Jamie get some peace from his ever wandering mind but we are teased with a breakthrough and left with more questions….onto the next book I go!

Soooo gooood! Lots of steamy sex scenes and drama and great characters. Happy and bittersweet and wonderful. I have a serious book hangover from this series.

A MUST READ SERIES

I cannot believe the emotional ride this author takes you on while opening up the lives of these characters. I have spent the entire night unable to put this book down. Just about the time I think they are figuring things out, the roller coaster takes a dive and we are back at square one. So many surprises, so many hurdles for them to cross. Just about the time I figure out who belongs with who, boom, we are off again scratching our heads. This series will keep you hooked. The characters are unbelievably real and will grab you by the heartstrings. No love story is without its' trials. This is a must read series.
