Excellent material bar none

This is an excellent piece of literature well worth the price. This book is a very excellent read that keeps your attention throughout its pages, it covers a vast amount of information on developing resolute thinking skills, and furthering ones fencing skills when having discourse. The book is also just as firm and sound with the development of writing skills, and though this rating is not my best writing; please do not let get past you as this book is an excellent, excellent purchase. You will not go wrong in owning a copy. If for no other reason this piece of literature would make an excellent gift to give to someone; whom faces challenges in any of these areas. Note: I try to face my challenges head on, and so needless to say the book is aiding me in many areas. Hope that this information will be as helpful for you as it has been for me, be well.

This book is an exceptional resource for anybody who needs to gain the ability to replenish their energy and protect themselves from being drained. It is one of the clearest and most comprehensive texts that I have come across. As an energy healer myself, I am usually on top of my own energy system, however I found myself able to access new and deeper layers of my energy system with Brian's suggestions.
The most notable thing is the range of easy tools that are available in this book. It is not defined to any particular modalities, but uses several in support for the message behind this book, which is that effective energy boundaries are the basis for successful navigation and success in life.
Which makes sense - without this awareness we can easily become too rigid or too lucid. Which can mess up our life immensely. With the skills that Brian presents - now I have a much broader awareness of how to maintain my space and I am beginning to sense and know exactly what intelligent boundaries are.

Back matter gives readers some basics on his life, including the charmingly humble statement "Keith later began playing in a band with a group of friends, including Mick Jagger. They called themselves the Rolling Stones." He relates his experiences spending time with Gus, who took the boy on walks and gave him his first guitar, which started a lifelong passion for music. There's little of the hilariously snarky Keith that adult readers will know from his autobiography, Life (Little, Brown, 2011); written in free verse, the text is tender, though never cloying, and both the author's love for music and his grandfather come through. Loose black-and-white pen-and-ink illustrations, done by Keith's daughter, affectionately depict the title characters, as well as the various objects in their orbit (musical instruments, Big Ben, tea kettles, a double-decker bus), while backgrounds provide rich washes of purples, blues, yellows, and green, emphasizing the beauty and the sense of magic of the music. About the Author
Keith Richards is a musician, singer, songwriter, and founding member of the rock band the Rolling Stones. Widely considered one of the best guitarists in the world, he has a collection of over 350 guitars. His memoir, Life, received unanimous critical acclaim and was a #1 New York Times bestseller. Mr. Richards has five children and five grandchildren.
Theodora Dupree Richards, named after her great-grandfather Theodore Augustus Dupree, is an artist and a daughter of Keith Richards and Patti Hansen. To research the images for this project, she traveled to the Richards family home in Dartford, England, and consulted family and historical photographs of her father's childhood era. This is her first book.

Grandpas rock! Great book, beautiful story.

Who'd have thought the wildman, who gave us When the Whip Comes Down and Let’s Spend the Night Together, could also tell such a gentle, evocative tale? Keith Richards writes about his grandfather Gus — a bandleader whose house was filled with “instruments and cake” — and the meandering walks they’d take together through the streets of London.

Stones fans will love Gus & Me because it reveals how young Keef developed his love for music. But even if the book wasn’t about Richards (and even if the playful/mischievous illustrations hadn’t been drawn by his daughter and even if the accompanying CD didn’t feature Keith reading the story in the perfect bedtime voice), it’s simply a wonderful book for children, a book about the lasting gift that a grandfather gave to his grandson.

A love song....

A wonderful, touching tale of the love between a Grandfather and Grandson that led to a shared passion for music. I had read the story in Keith's autobiography Life, but the addition of his daughter Theodora's (who is named for Theodore Augustus Dupree, the titular Gus) illustrations adds to the family bond evoked by the story. Ordered a copy for my Grandniece and one for myself; my only regret is I don't get a copy of the CD with Keith reading the story since I got the Kindle edition...maybe Quinn and I can share! If you are a fan of music of any kind and wish to pass that love along, buy this book. This is the 4th book in the series and i am.. (not surpised) pleasently pleased!!! As in all the other books Camelia sense some1 is in danger... She thinks its Danica and she makes sure she i safe, but nothing is wrong?...

is she turnin into her aunt?
will she reach who is REALLY in trouble in time?
will she be labeled as 'crazy'?
She is so confused but she wont even go to Ben... they've takin their time apart but...
is Ben goin out with high schools voted most beautiful girl?
has he moved on?
even though he has a tatoo of a chamelion?
Camelia struggles through tellin no one about her powers... but it lets on to 1, 2, 3 people.....

And so I was all like YEAH when I clutched Deadly Little Voices by Laurie Faria Stolarz in my hands for the first time. And I devoured it. Cause Deadly Little Voices rocks.

Before I get started on the story of Deadly Little Voices, let me talk a little about the characters. I was very much pleased with Camelia and (some of) her choices in Deadly Little Voices. She is finally getting it together, I think. More so than in previous books where I wanted to just shake her and point at the obviousness. Ben, as usual, drove me crazy, and I still can't decide if he's driving me in a good way or not.

Okay, and the whole story of Deadly Little Voices. LOVEEEDDD IT. I thought the first two stories were kind of a similar and almost a bit repetitive but with Deadly Little Games and Deadly Little Voices, Laurie Faria Stolarz is starting to break away from that and there's more mystery and new characters and we're starting to figure out Camelia and Ben's powers and just. It's a lot of awesomeness, basically.

Basically, this series is awesome. If you like stalkers and general creepiness and paranormal visions and what not, definitely check out the first book, Deadly Little Secret. And if you read the rest of the series, pick up Deadly Little Voices right away.

I can't even remember how I got the first one of these but I am so glad that I did. I read them one right after the other and couldn't put them down. Great characters and story lines. Can't wait for the next in the series.

I have strong intuition, and I'm very interested in healing. I found many interesting insights in this book. I think it's good, but I skipped exercises completely. They just don't work for me. All skills that I've gained came to me naturally, without any special effort.

COMPREHENSIVE AND IN-DEPTH INFORMATION ABOUT VIETNAM

Vietnam has been experiencing rapid and significant changes in politics, economy, society and foreign relations since the introduction of doi moi, economic reform plan, in 1986, but Vietnam has long been perceived as country of war and ideology and this perception made it difficult to analyze and discuss it objectively. Closely looking into Vietnam with thorough understanding is therefore required. This book seems written for audiences who need more systematic approaches for the understanding of Vietnam. As editor mentioned, this is a collection of academic researches based on a conference meeting and doctoral theses to give true picture of contemporary Vietnam with in-depth analysis. This is definitely not a travel guide although it may be helpful for that purpose.

The book covers four main areas of politics, economy, society and foreign relations in Vietnam and they are supported by systematic analysis, examples and data. But inclusion of history and cultural sections of Vietnam would have given more breath of this book since Vietnam is still relation-based society and it can be better understood from history and cultural perspective. It would also been better to include the works from more American based researchers in addition to Vietnamese and European based researchers' to reflect more wide selection of opinions although the book looks impartial. Last thing I'd like to mention here is that the book was published in 2004 and many works have been done before the meeting in 2001. As of 2011, the international and domestic situations have been changed and we may need to adjust surrounding facts, although main points of the book should be the same.

The book begins with the topics of politics and the section covers political structure changes in Vietnam, role of Vietnamese Communist Party (VCP), actual meaning of reform to Vietnam People, and grassroots democracy. It assesses how much progress has been made in this category. Author also proceeds with Vietnamese economy. The topics are economic development for globalization and liberalization, restructuring State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) and equitisation progress, and economic transformation in rural area after the end of collectivization. Author continues with topics of society. It covers educational system and health services, emergence of civil society and new socio-economic class, and social structure change. Finally the book is closed with the topics of foreign relations. The section covers status and roadblocks of foreign investments and foreign policy with an example of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Vietnam's reform is still on-going work and some progress has been made in politics, economy, society, and foreign relations since the beginning of the reform in 1986, but there still remain the legacies of centralism and ideology. Vietnamese people continue to work on, need to resolve it and then the reform is called successful.
