He won two Glenfiddich Awards for his work in the Independent on Sunday and has written five cookbooks, including the well-reviewed kitchen companion The Green Kitchen (also published by Kyle Books). A few useful recipes also some different approaches to ingredients that differ from the ordinary. All in all a handy book to keep by the bread maker when you want to try something a little different..

This book is awesome!! Have not yet made all the recipes but the several I have tried are awesome!!! Easy to follow and nice pictures!!
The one comment is that the focaccia recipe as written is 1/2 a cookie sheet.(there was no indication of size of baking pan in the recipe) Next time I make it i am going to try doubling the recipe, I think my zojirushi bb-cec20 will be able to handle it and the recipe as written does not make enough.
There are several recipes that just use the bake cycle, for those I just mix and bake in the regular oven at 375.
But this book itself is super!! The peanut bread recipe and challah are out of this world!! But the others I have tried are awesome too!!!
