About the Author
Dr. Warren W. Wiersbe is an internationally known Bible teacher and the former pastor of three churches, including the Moody Church in Chicago. For ten years he served as general director and Bible teacher for the Back to the Bible radio broadcast. Dr. Wiersbe has written more than 150 books, including the popular "Be" series of expositional Bible studies, which has sold more than four million copies. In 2002, he was awarded the Jordon Lifetime Achievement Award by the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association. He and his wife, Betty, live in Lincoln, Nebraska.

wonderful book

This book has opened my eyes to the beauty of the psalms and how they apply to our everyday lives. It has helped me understand what the authors meant. When I go through tough times I have passages of this book marked that I turn to time and time again. I use it with my bible.

Study of Psalms

Mr. Wiersbe is a good author and I believe the holy spirit speaks through him. There is so much info for each chapter of Psalms. I would highly recommend it.

The More Excellent Way

Wiersbe gives background and history along with cross references to aid to understanding of the scripture at hand. Very insightful and helpful in conjuction with The Wiersbe Bible Study Series: Psalms: Glorifying God for Who He Is Even if I wasn't doing the study series this text is great in helping me understand God's Word. Wiersbe's style is user friendly.
