Good supplemental reading into the history of Singapore.

A series of interviews of various pioneering political and business giants from the 1960s. LKY is noticeably absent, but some of the opposition are here. Great reading if you are interested in Singapore's political climate around the time of independence. Lots of good insight in the mindset of many surviving leaders too (as of 2015). Of course the majority of the leaders featured tend to be Chinese, so if you're hoping for information on the Malay, Indian or Eurasian leaders, apart from the really famous ones such as David Marshall and Yusuf Ishak (not a true interview since he was deceased by that time), you'll have to look elsewhere.
Can't beat the price as I read it FOC on my Kindle app. Thanks Amazon!
